Volksfest Sausage & Beer Festival
Volksfest [formerly called Wurstfest] is a celebration of handmade sausage, local and German beer, and German music in Mt. Angel Festhalle, with an artisan market, a kids’ area, and a Saturday 5K/10K Wurst Run. Kids younger than age 21 are free with an adult.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a Hillsboro tradition at Hare Field. (From Hare Field it goes east to Cornell Road, south to Main Street, west to 2nd Avenue, north to Grant Street, and east back to Hare Field). A 4K race precedes the parade at 10:30 a.m. Free.
