We sucked our breath in when we got the call from Brent at Columbia Rovers, in anticipation of getting a "gi-normous" service quote but were pleasantly ELATED to find that the forest green "Exxon Valdez" we've had parked in our driveway over the last few weeks was not in fact a warped head as we suspected, but a clogged port. Cost? $20.00. I was referred to Columbia Rovers and greeted with an open shop door and same-day service.  Being a lifetime Land Rover owner, that's impossible to find.  Brent and Scott took the time to pop the hood and REALLY listen to my issues with my 89 Range Rover Classic, instead of the typical "let's replace everything and hope it works again" mentality I previously experienced at another local shop.  Brent has worked with me on my 2002 Freelander, 2003 Discovery G4, 2006 L322 Range Rover and the newest addition to the family, my 1989 Range Rover Classic.  Not only have I saved A LOT of money compared to previous service shops, but they helped me perform upgrades on my LRs that other shops did not even know existed.  Thanks Brent, Scott and crew!

I have been a Classic Land Rover enthusiast since I was about 5 years old.  At that time my uncle had purchased a 1972 Rover Suffix A, which I still have very fond memories of.  I purchased my first Land Rover, a series III, while living in Scotland some 13 years ago and this past fall I finally got my hands on the Land Rover Defender I've always wanted so I decided to give Columbia Rovers a call because of their convenient location.  I am glad I did.  The level of professionalism and positive attitude that I have experienced has yet to be surpassed.  It is very comforting to me as an enthusiast to be dealing with a shop that has staff that really know what they are talking about and that know a whole lot more than I do.  You will not get this kind of care and this level of technical knowledge if you go to a Land Rover dealership or a generic shop.  Columbia Rovers has helped me with everything from general maintenance and repairs, electrical wiring clean-up, to full undercarriage rustproofing with Waxoyl.  I have been recommending Columbia Rovers to everyone I know that drives a Land Rover.  Thank you.

I had a horrible experience with another local shop and brought my Discovery in for a starter replacement and oil change.  Not only was I able to walk-in, but they gave me a free inspection and replaced the stater and oil in the very same day.  They even stayed late for me.  That's service you don't find anywhere!  Brent kept me updated on my vehicle throughout the day while I was at work and also gave me a loaner Discovery to drive to get around for work.  I didn't have to pay a penny for it either. I was shocked at the hospitality and cleanliness of the shop and waiting area.  Being a woman that's important.  I recommend Columbia Rovers for anyone who wants to walk out with a job done right and a smile!

Last year I was having some starter problems with my Classic and was searching for the right shop to not only take care of the problem and to build an all important service relationship with.  I started out taking it to the "other" shop in town, and after 3 misdiagnosises and shotgunning parts at it, I decided to take it to Brent at Columbia Rovers. What an experience!  They stuck with it and figured it out.  They found discounted parts and the labor was quite reasonable.  Since then I have had them do some upgrades and other work to my truck with great results.  I will not take my truck anywhere else, in fact I drive all the way from Central Oregon to have it worked on.  Thankfully they are opening a shop in Bend this year!
